About Sandy
Sandy is a registered clinical psychologist who has worked in public and private settings since 2014, supporting people with a wide range of challenges such as anxiety, OCD, stress, low mood, difficulties managing emotions and trauma. She also enjoys working with people who are striving for growth and performance optimisation.
Sandy provides a safe, supportive space where you'll feel heard and respected. Her approach focuses on helping you cultivate a more compassionate, empowered sense of self. Together, you and Sandy explore the patterns or barriers that may be holding you back, strengthen your resilience, and move toward the life you want to live.
Therapeutic approach
Sandy is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and mindfulness, and draws on whichever fits you and what you're working on.
OCD is a particular interest. Sandy uses Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and in June 2025 she completed the International OCD Foundation's Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI).
Reaching out for help takes courage, and it's something we all need at times. If you feel ready, Sandy would be honoured to support you as you take this step forward.
