Our Managing Mental Health in the workplace course, takes mental health first aid to the next level, and has been specifically designed for managers and team leaders, who want to increase their knowledge and expertise in the area of managing people with mental health concerns. 

This full day training course takes a comprehensive look at wellbeing, the prevalence of mental illness and the importance of promoting mental health in the workplace. We explore the myths around mental illness, and review governing legislation to ensure best practice, with a focus on conscious and unconscious bias and importance of the benefits of providing reasonable accommodations for people with a diagnosed mental health condition. This training also looks at the characteristics of staff with a challenging personality versus a potential mental health condition and provide some helpful tips for how to recognise the difference.
